OPTIONAL SIGHTSEEING & EXCURSIONS

With Insight, you will enjoy many of Britain's famous highlights as included features of your tour - at no extra cost. However, there is an exciting array of additional excursions which are made available to help turn an already outstanding experience into the trip of a lifetime. These are entirely optional and are offered to you at competitive prices. They are all bookable through your Tour Director at the commencement of your tour as many of them are planned to coincide with the best highlights available at the time of your visit.

The following list is general as it would be impossible to operate all excursions on any one tour. The actual tours to be offered will be advised to you by your Tour Director.

Prices are quoted in Sterling and Euros in Eire and payment can be made in cash or by the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard or American Express. All credit card transactions will be charged in Sterling or Euros. For payments in other currencies your Tour Director will advise the relevant exchange rates at the commencement of your tour.

HOW TO BUDGET FOR OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS:

This list is for guidance only. The final list of optional excursions to be offered during your tour will be given to you by your Tour Director. To allow you to participate in a selection of these additional evenings of dinner/entertainment and special interest sightseeing excursions, please budget for an approximate cost of € 45 per person per day.

DUB01 DINNER & CABARET

Over an excellent dinner you'll enjoy a non-stop show featuring comedy, dance, song, music and fine food. Ireland's musical history unfolds in a cabaret that will delight you long after the night has ended. The cast will have you tapping your toes and joining in the fun, and it's all wrapped up in the spirit of Irish humour. We will serve you an Irish coffee at the end of dinner which will put you in the mood for Ireland's best night out. € 64

DUB04 IRISH COUNTRYSIDE & GLENDALOUGH

A beautiful afternoon drive through Co, Wicklow known as the garden of Ireland. We pass through the Wicklow Mountains to the picturesque setting of St. Kevin's great 6th Century monastic site at Glendalough. We return to Dublin via the Great Sugar Loaf Mountain. € 18

This fine castle is set in its own grounds against a backdrop of glorious scenery. We will enjoy a visit around the castle, the home of the Duke of Atholl, who is the only man in Britain to have a private army. UK £14.00

EDI01 SCOTTISH CABARET

Tonight is a chance to put on that tartan and join us for an evening of singing, dancing and bagpipe playing. There is food, wine and a great atmosphere. Join in with the singing, we'll show you a Highland dance or two and there's a chance to sample Scotland's national dish - haggis.
